RACES pleased to announce further collaborative work with key training organisations

RACES Managing Director Mike Smart visited Practical Refrigeration Training Centre in Burnley and Liverpool College yesterday, meeting trainers and students as well as casting his eye over the excellent training facilities they both offer.

Mike commented: “Both are incredibly committed and passionate about our industry. Both have identified flaws and issues within our sector and wider communities that need improving , and it’s time we started talking. We must bridge the gaps between wholesalers, trainers, manufacturers, SMEs, engineers, and apprentices to raise standards of legislation and competency. With significant changes to our sector imminent, it’s imperative that we work together to strengthen and improve the industry.”
